Hello guys welcome back to another video. In this video we will be checking out Kitbash3D's new program called Cargo. Essentially it is an asset library that contains all of Kitbash3D's kits. There are some free assets that are included but ultimately you will need to purchase a subscription to unlock all of the assets. But for anything more? The quality of these assets is just not good enough...

When you import them are they ready to use? Example: all steps are ready with boundaries to walk etc. Collision etc

Personally love kitbash3d one of my go to for this stuff. I'm not sure if its worth it for the subscription.
Especially with how collision and others arent setup from the get go if you're trying to use them in games and with how much grey area there is with canceling. I luckily already own a decent portion of the kits they offer.
If anyone is interested for owning them perpetually they do a few sales throughout the year and usually black friday being the biggest

when installing this, the choice of latest UE version is only 5.1, if you add their plugin to a 5.2 project, the project won't open... it won't break the project, UE asks whether to start the addon or not, if you chose no - it will open the project

If I ran epic games I would simply just buy kit bash 3-D. And make it free not the assets but the actual importing tool

Ok for example if I downloaded some of the asset before the subscription ended and when it ends do I still can keep using the asset freely that I downloaded inside the project? So if this is allowed then is it legal and possible if I just download the whole thing 10.000 assets for safe keeping? won't it sounds too good to be true right?

Doesn't really support ue5.2 despite what they claim in the last update. endless disconnections - for me it disconnect every 10-15 seconds.

This Cargo KitBash is total disaster :@ I couldn't sign up, when I clicked Sign Up, the window kept standing there for a long time. Then after finally somehow I managed to sign up, I couldn't log in with the same issue ! Now the biggest problem is I CANNOT UNINSTALL IT :@ it says still running, and when I am closing it from the Task Manager, IT APPEARS BACK active :O I hope this is not some kind of malware of any sort ...

I'm tempted to pay for a month and download all the assets just so I can report back if it works. I don't see anything preventing us from doing this in the FAQ, either.

UPDATE: I am finally back after being gone for a month! (I moved across the country). I will be working on new Unreal Engine 5.2 content for the channel! I am now focusing on this full time, as well as finishing my Multiplayer Survival Game Course (it is over halfway complete with over 40 hours of course content).
