DESCRIPTION

The world’s coldest continent is also one of the most mysterious places on Earth. It’s as unique as it as secretive, and unlike most of the world, you can’t just hop on a flight and tick it off the bucket list. Unless you’re an elite scientist or an emperor penguin, in an effort to protect the area’s biodiversity, regular folk are forbidden to explore the antarctic. Even if you could, good luck overcoming the frostbite-inducing temperatures of nearly -130 degrees Fahrenheit (-90 C). But where did these heavy restrictions come from? It all started when American Navy officer Admiral Byrd put forth plans for a special treaty, one which declared that Antarctica should remain a completely demilitarised zone and devoid of ownership by any one nation...

If it's all about safety, then why do they allow people to die on the world's tallest mountain all the time.

I remember being a child and wanting to explore and I told my Dad I wanted to discover new land and he said it's all been discovered. When I was older I was watching The Truman show and Truman said he wanted to be an explorer like Magellan and the teacher told him, "You can't. It's all been discovered." Because she was afraid Truman would find out he was on a movie set. It does seem like a lie someone would tell another person to prevent them from finding something out. If govts around the world are in agreement that no one can venture out there without a tour guide that has to get a permit, and we can't even fly over something is Hella suspicious these are the same people who have declassified documents admitting to experimenting on, torturing, and killing their own citizens, these are people who allow a certain amount of poison and bug parts in your food, these are people who make necessary, lifesaving medications and treatments only available to the rich. These are the same people who have repeatedly been caught accepting money from giant corporations to turn a blind eye to the destruction they cause to nature. There's something else going on there.

in the movie the truman show , when jim carrey took that boat to go to the end of the dome , the weather condition was extreme to keep him away from finding the exit .

There was a time when we We could hop on a ship and explore new lands And now we are told We're not allowed to go to certain places and not even with a good excuse This has always been Very suspicious to me

So, it's okay for me to go into the Amazon Rainforest, which is a lush rain forest teeming with life, but not okay to go to a barren wasteland of ice out of fear of endangering the near non-existent life there. Hmmmm, makes sense.

So they will protect a place we can't visit, but not the Earth's lungs the Amazon 🤔

I find it hard to believe that the USA, China or Russia have no claim on parts of the land.

It's amazing how for our safety we can't go, but can literally go walking into a desert and get lost and die. Make it make sense

When I was living in NZ for 3-4 years there was a bizarre story. The official story was there wa s a fire at an Antartic station that required a winter flight to be made from NZ to pick up a number of people and these were returned to a hospital in Christchurch. Now as media speculation grew a lot of people went down to the hospital to get stories when all of a sudden the news said they were no longer at the hospital and names unknown. That was strange yet chaps with radio-ham devices said there was a fight on the ice and that forced the evacuation. Still none the wiser yet certainly odd. Sometime between 1998-2000.

I don’t believe “a bunch of countries” came together and unanimously, harmoniously agreed to “keep it safe” Admiral Byrd’s story is amazing. Nazis, extraterrestrial beings, resources he couldn’t describe. It’s worth a deep dive into researching to discover the real truth.

If it was really about protecting people nobody would be allowed to climb Mount Everest.
