Iāve looked in the mirror in dreams before. Sometimes I look way more attractive,other times it just feels scary. I remember vividly in a dream, but when I looked in the mirror, I wasnāt scared but itās like it was natural instinct for my brain to produce a scared reaction. I think it is similar to roller coaster rides can be scary. Also, I wonder if influencers promoting the idea that looking in the mirror is scary is just creating a self fulfilling prophecy

This has happened my whole life, my dreams feel like Iām not actually in them, itās like Iām in a pitch dark void watching my dreams and being able to control myself like Iām playing a video game. I canāt explain it much

I've already accidentally looked into mirrors in both lucid and regular dreams a couple of times. So far, I've only ever seen myself like I look irl, maybe with a bit more tired eyes lol

I love lucid dreaming, and last night I found myself in a lucid dream and recalled that you aren't supposed to look in a mirror in a lucid dream and I immediately wanted to test it, so I looked into a mirror and saw the creepiest thing I've ever seen. It was initially just a regular mirror, but it quickly morphed into my face with an evil smile and just a black void where my eyes were and I felt something grab me from behind and I immediately woke up. Iv looked into a mirror while dreaming and nothing really happened other than the image being distorted or me not being me and it didnt make me wake up. The only way it will end is if you get to freaked out or any high emotion remaining calm is the key you can do whatever you want as long as you stay pretty calm

Extreme lucid dreamer here, when you look in the mirror anything that you are self conscious about (teeth, acne etc.) will be worse. I had a broken tooth that that became abscess before I could have it pulled and when i looked in the mirror my face was swollen and throbbing and all my teeth kept falling out. This being a fear of mine from experiencing how terrible it is intensified although I knew I was dreaming. However, it will not snap you out of that lucid dream all the time. The few times I've been in a lucid dream and seen a mirror though I knew to not look into it because it honestly felt like I was going to see something demonic. Again, this being just a fear of mine personally.

The reason why I searched this up is that I was dreaming normally I was in an elevator idk why a mirror was in there and when I looked at it it lookedā¦. Itās hard to describe it couldnāt see my self then my whole dream started shaking my head was hurting and it ended 15 sec later
