This album is a masterpiece. It is classy and beautiful. I first became mesmerized with his work when I was fortunate enough to be handed a white label of Children around September/October 1995. Couldn't wait for Dreamland to hit the shelves and I've followed his work and been inspired to dig even deeper when I Dj'd. This album being his follow up never sold as well as Dreamland but this is so under-rated. Whenever I hit play on track one, I always intend to just listen to track one, but I just let it play and play and play some more. Rest in peace Roberto, you were stolen from us all way before your time. Your music will last forever. xxx

I grew up with this cd my aunt bought. I used to put it at her home over and over again, she always loved this "mystical" music Robert made. Also, her house was full of amulets, decorations and all sorts of things that resembled good magic. She had incense sticks, scented candles and sachets all over the place...and cats! I always felt like I was in a sacred temple were I could meditate and ease my mind from all the stuff that was happening in my life at that moment (from 12 to 16) and Full Moon was my favorite track of the album. It's like the perfect culmination of a state of trance, were you are brought back to the real world but in a soothing way. I will always cherish those moments were my visits to that sacred place were magical.

Even "Dreamland" was most popular of Miles works, "23 am" is absolutely piece of amazing trance ambient masterwork never done before. RIP Robert and thanks for uploading this. That music will always alive in my (our) heart(s) and this is my (our) gratitude for your attempt to make World more better than enough...

There are chill out albums & there are chill out albums, but this is THE chill out album of all chill out albums. Robert Miles monster trance hit 'Children', from '95, mainly introduced the world to this man's music & a never underrated talent. That song alone, in my opinion, has always been the stand out, most popular track, for the sun drenched beach generation of the '90's trance dance scene.
'23AM', however, was a bit of a departure & a surprise on it's release, veering more than a few planets away from his previous dance hits territory. It is just the most beautiful ensemble of tracks that really do take you on that ultimate journey to chillax-ville. Kathy Sledge's sublime vocals on 'Enjoy' are a delight & almost dream like. 'Moon' is my favourite track on the album. It takes you right to the dark side of the moon too (in a good way) but then you do come back to earth for the final landing with 'Leaving Behind'. This album is chock full of emotion & gorgeous melodies & I think is Robert's finest hour. It is a masterpiece from the master of Trance who sadly was taken from us way too soon. (RIP).

R. Miles totally hit me with his music. Permanently. His compositions bring me into harmony with God and the universe. I draw hope, energy and love from her. Thank you master that we crossed paths.
