so glad she's standing proud about her bilingualism. Hope she continues to release English music and get more fans overseas! Definitely want to see her flourish here. Bad Mode is such a bop there's no way it can't be a hit in the US

Can't believe I just heard Hikki sing a few lines of one of her Cubic U songs ("I'll Be Stronger").

Utada claiming MJB as her favorite artist next to her mom and being able to sing the entire My Life album is literally a universal win for BLERDS. All the racism in the nerd communities can NEVER top this. 😭😭😭I thought I was honored to be a fan before but to hear that she loves music that resonates not only with me but the entire black community means so much.

JPop solo artist is super popular with her song "First Love" - Sold millions of records around the world in 1996. Amazing.. A lot of young JPOP artists was inspired by her.

The way I almost called 911 when she sang I’ll Be Stronger because I did NOT expect Cubic U acknowledgement, let alone that underrated bop. She's over here giving me palpitations.

I’ve loved Utada since I was a pre-teen. Discovered her as a child with Kingdom Hearts and she became my gateway into the world of Japanese music when I stumbled across Kiss & Cry in 2007. Nice to see her finally getting her flowers (on an international level) after all these years and being on this journey with her as a fan. She’s always been so down to earth and it’s one of her greatest qualities.

I love Hikaru. They're the first Japanese act I saw and they blew me away. So glad to see they're still making great music until now. 😊

Hikaru literally paved the way for so many artist back in the early 2000's that wanted to sing in English and doing things in the states. Her and coco lee should be talked more and give props for giving so much for Asian representation on the states...

Never expected/knew that she was a fan of MJB woah but i knew R&B was a big influence for her especially on her early career. She mentioned Aaliyah was an inspiration when she created her first album and vocally Amel Larrieux was.
