Thing here is that supposedly this mini PC is made for professional activities mainly now the fact that iGPU is actually viable for games is quite a miracle(pd: can you do another videos testing other games? Some of those i have in mind are minecraft,League of Legends,crash bandicoot n sane trilogy and halo infinite)

I have had mine for about three months or so and it plays the games I like (mainly strategy games) even at 2K resolution, with great frame rates. Prior to finding out about the UM790 Pro, I was planning on trying to build my own mini PC. This thing rocks.

Nice video! I like it for non-AAA games. For AAA games, get a PS5 or Xbox Series X for better optimization. Games like Forza Horizon 5 run well on mini-PCs.

I see that the Ryzen 7 7840HS in the Minisforum EliteMini UM780 XTX is currently about 10% cheaper than their Venus UM790 Pro (USD 629 vs 699) despite only 3% slower.
Both share the same iGPU, 780M.
IMHO, I suggest the UM780 XTX is the better buy.
Any chance comparing them?

Having a great CPU means this is firstly idea for productivity or games like City Skylines.
Second it means if you use an eGPU you have a fully high spec workstation.
This is not just a gaming computer.

Im waiting for the 8700G. Its likely the same CPU with slightly highler clocks for desktop. Imagine I put this in a fanless case. I hope I can use faster 7200 DDR5 RAM.
