For not having much drift ice, the captain did his best by smashing that iceberg! Glad you got to (sort of) see it!

Journey Across Japan has to be one of my favourite series of all time on any platform. The places, the people, the antics, I love all of it. Thank you to all the great people who make these possible.

So glad that JAJ has become a yearly thing and isn't going anywhere. Special thanks to the patreons who continues to support this series and Chris for sticking up to it and just do what he enjoys.

Watching Chris’s video quality go from vlog style filmed in his room to the professional documentary style content he makes now has been the most impressive come up I’ve ever seen

I probably should've realised given the historical accuracy of the series, that the Abashiri prison featured in the anime Golden Kamuy is an actual prison in Hokkaido. It's super neat to see the actual prison and to see how accurate the anime was in portraying it's layout and the size and shape of the cells. Thanks so much for showing us all these cool locations and historical sites and as always, a fantastic video to be proud of!

You probably get this all the time but thank you for all your videos your a big reason I went to Japan and spent 3 weeks there getting back last saturday. I would never have been places like the Hidotakayama retro museum without you and this series.

What a great journey across Japan this was Chris! I always splitscreen my monitor with one side being youtube and one being old school runescape, but whenever I see an abroad in japan video I always fullscreen to enjoy it the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Thanks for all your hard work, your passion shows!

It's incredible how different this video feels to most other Abroad In Japan videos is that Chris genuinely sounds happy for the first time in his narrations.

This JAJ was so much fun, the addition of Pete to the squad made the series even more fun and enjoyable while the cinematography felt even more crazily good by landscapes covered with snow. I would once again like to thank Chris for continuing on my most enjoyable series on YouTube and hope we can continue to see this squad's journey through your lens in the future.

I legitimately thought you guys were just leaning on a prison guard, then I thought you were going to intro the guy that escaped by revealing you were leaning on him dressed as a guard...then I realized it was just a statue. What a rollercoaster of emotions

Journey Across Japan series is always a blast. Love the antics. 😁 I was wondering if you guys could do like summer escapade through Japan's famous or infamous rivers/caves for short hikes/expedition of some sort. Would love to see that too. 😊❤

Dog Sledding and Train was definitely the highlight of the series. But you can’t forget about the rap battle and the Great Pete commentary🎉What a fun series
