LYRICS
Have you heard that the rapture is coming
Have you heard Heā€™ll be calling your name
And youā€™ll fly like a bird into the heavens
And youā€™ll never be sad again

Have you heard that the rapture is coming
And that no one will be left behind
That Heā€™ll cradle your head oh so softly
Like a child, like a child, like a child

What a wonderful sound
My Jesus in the sky
He has counted all your tears
Come and meet Him in the by and by

Have you heard that the rapture is coming
That He loves you for all that you are
That Heā€™d make you again in a heartbeat
Every freckle and every scar

What a wonderful sound
My Jesus in the sky
He has counted all your tears
Come and meet Him in the by and by

Dreaming of playing this live and everyone singing along. Thatā€™s what hymns are meant for :)

I didn't expect how much this song would surface questions around religion, but of course it does :) For the record, I was raised Christian, so writing hymns feels very natural to me - like coming home. But I wouldn't call myself a Christian today. I still pray and meditate, but my faith has expanded with time. I embrace the divine as best I can with humility and kindness. There's so much we don't know, so I try to just be here, accept the unknown and love people. To me, this song is about acceptance more than religion. But that's just me.

This could be the most beautiful song you've written...yet. They say a good song is one that feels and sounds that it has been around for a while. And this feels like that.

Love the smallness of the guitar sounds (for lack of a better word - I'm not musical haha). And Nataly has a voice like a cold morning's drive through an autumn forest. šŸ¤

I'm a Bible-believing Christian. A Sunday School teacher here in the Philippines and I've been listening to Pomplamoose before Jack founded Patreon (during the Angry Bird cover days) so I'm quite a fan. I just want to say that this song is great and very encouraging. Maraming salamat. Thanks. Merci beaucoup

Dear Nataly I just wanted to send you my heartfelt gratitude for this new song of yours. Yesterday has been a year since I lost dad. And as a Christian it just touched my heart and soul. Thank you beyond words. Maral.

Coming from a deeply religious background and leaving it all behind, the one thing I've missed is the music. Not the words, but the beautiful music that was created to go with those hymns. This is a perfect hymn and brought tears to my eyes. Thank you!

I'm not a religious human. For me, music has always been part of my "rapture," those parts of human life that move me. Thank you for your music, Nataly. :-)

This is so nostalgic. Found you 12 years ago with ā€˜Little Thingsā€™ and have never seen a video of yours I havenā€™t enjoyed. Hope youā€™ll come to KC soon.

I love your songs, but this one is so brilliant it just haunts me I've listened to it for over an hour and it just keeps rising up my spine and down again. All your hard work the past few years has brought you to this higher state of consciousness. I sound foolish but I don't care because this song will never leave me and I don't know how else to praise you. Thank you, Nataly.
