🔎 The Brother Brothers:
The Brother Brothers, united by birth and blood but traversing distinct musical paths, formed their folk group in 2016 after individual journeys of musical exploration and self-discovery, creating a culture of music that treasures songwriting and tradition. Despite appearances, their harmonies and music weren't solely honed together. From classical backgrounds in Peoria, IL, they ventured from Appalachia to New York, fusing their experiences into a harmonious blend. Making homes from Austin to Boston and finally New York, they converged in 2016, performing their own songs and reimagining bluegrass classics as The Brothers. Their diverse sound captivated audiences worldwide, with introspective lyrics and virtuosic instrumentation, often backed by a full band. Their recordings, like "Tugboats" and "Some People I Know," demonstrate their musical evolution, leading to albums like "Calla Lily," "Cover to Cover," navigating their lives during and post pandemic. Their journey continues with much music on the horizon that will no doubt illustrate their musical and emotional journey through life.
