I fell in love with this album after hearing it the third time or so. Didn't really feel it the first couple of times except for Pretend and Attempt. But listening to the entire album now..it's just so good. I believe your current situation and the way you feel greatly affects how much a song or album resonates with you. I'm reading a lot of comments here that this isn't the usual upbeat music of Far Caspian and that's true. It isn't, but it's sad and beautiful and nostalgic and melancholic all at the same time. And the music is awesome as always. That's just how I feel about the album. I love it and I love Far Caspian. Glad to have such music in my life. I live for these moments.

This album is a wonderful continuation of Far Caspianās musical ability and development. The previous albums had this air of calm exploration and indie aesthetics that allowed the listener to paint wonderful pictures of spending time with oneās self and loved ones. This album is no different. It maintains the same beautiful aesthetics with the added novelty that every new Far Caspian album brings. I have been listening to this band for years now, and I always look forward to listening to their music. Their music has helped me in more ways than I can count. It has been a privilege hearing Far Caspianās musical development over the years, and I can not wait to hear what comes next. Thank you Joel, Alessio, Jof, and Nath for all that you do:).

I came across the album today, after all this time following his new singles and seeing that every single one were added to my favourites, I knew what was coming and I'm not surprised. There wasn't a single bad song on this album, which only Far Caspian can do, certainly so far, of all the bands I love that have released an album this year (Men I Trust, Still Corners, Dayglow, L'impƩratrice ), this is the most beautiful and complete I've heard. Damn I love his work so much!

I have listened to Far Caspian high on shrooms, LSD, stoned on pot, crossed, drunk, caffeinated on a study groove, and just peacefully sober. Their music is genuine bliss and the enjoyment I get from it is empowering.
Listening to this artistic passion is a reason to get up in morning, which is something I need desperately. Thank you.

I think there are some inspirations from "Between Days" in the new album, but about reflections from the previous album and musical character of mosty artist. As someone who has listened to all of the band's tracks, I actually felt very clearly the change in the musical character compared to the previous albums and tracks. I don't like how the albums are similar to the previous album, but it's great that the music evolves and changes while keeping the musical character. Despite the album's mostly minimal tones and more stable structure, the feeling I felt in each track was different from the previous tracks and albums. In this album I couldn't find the part of Between Days that made me excited and emboldening, but if this album had been as I said, perhaps such a change would not have occurred. If there were no lyrics in any of the tracks, I would still know that what I was listening to was Far Caspian, because the character of all the instruments played makes you feel it. As the music of the band you're listening to changes and evolves, it's great to realize that it's them when you listen to them anywhere. I think it's very clear how much I was influenced by the album "Between Days" :) An amazing album, I hope you will travel all over Europe for the concert.

I love music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. Songs that were around before I was born. But if you look enough, there is good music coming out today. This band is producing some of that music.
