When a slacker character is done correctly, it’s one of the best things going. Cassidy is lazy but when he’s focused on a goal that means something to him, it’s game time. He puts on a serious face and gets to work. Most people only associate a slacker characters actions with themselves, but AEW and Cassidy acknowledge that a slacker character can get serious for others they care about. This clip with Statlander and OC coming to help Best Friends in the parking lot brawl. Those extra layers of compassion towards others help flesh Cassidy out and make him more beloved. Where as WWE would likely have him stay in slacker mode for comedy

I loved this moment a lot for what it says about orange character in this moment. It shows that even though he is lazy most of the time, that he cares so much about his friends. This was the biggest match of Kris's career so far, so him breaking his lackadaisical nature shows how much he cares about this moment. In this moment he can't be lazy, he NEEDS to yell at her because she might not get another chance, which shows just how much he cares about her as his friend. This is Kris's biggest moment in her career and he knows that, and him screaming at to get in the ring, it shows just how much he cares about her succeeding in this match.

What I love about AEW is it has something for everyone. If you’re a child & you like that “Superman” type feel , Cody is for you. It’s got great indie style stars in Standlander , Page , etc. Great factions , great nostalgia , great Lucha , GREAT clash of styles. Storylines are awesome. Payoffs are even better. Comedic relief , heart wrenchers. It’s the first time in a long time I’ve been able to just enjoy a wrestling show. & I love that it pushes other products like WWE to put on better shows! We can’t lose as fans. I hope one day the forbidden door can open some more! I love pro wrestling
