Admittedly, this sheriff is certainly passionate, but most of his accolades were for all the law enforcement officers - even the K-9s. He also credited the techs, the pilots, and Homeland Security. I believe that the small amount of time that he did refer to himself was an act of inclusiveness, being part of the community. I would rather have this sheriff, rather than one who doesn't really care, serving my community. Just sayin'.
