It's so well done. I love it.
His father and his mother too were so horrible, the flashbacks were so difficult to watch. I don't understand parents like that who abuse their children.
I'm so glad he was exposed.
And I'm happy that Jun found real friends who he can rely on. He deserved it so much.
And I hope his brother will have a better life and do what he wants to do.

I think you have to realize that his brother was a kid when he made that decision to abandon him thinking he could be the target of their father’s abuse. He was also messed up and took on the brunt and pressure of being his fathers first son. He basically thought himself of the solution and held it because he had been holding onto it so long.. and as an adult he didn’t realize how wrong it was because he has trauma as well.
On a side note. Jihoon. Seeing him from produce 101 wink boy and seeing him do scenes liek these, broke my heart how real he acted. Best of luck to his future projects (i see you weak hero class)

This show really was amazingly well done. You can tell they put so much effort into every little thing from the characters background to making it seem realistic. Only some scenes seemed overdone, but honestly this is the closest and most relatable show I’ve seen in a very long time. I forgot for a second that I went through the same thing growing up and it became a show I could sob to. Yeo Jun is the character I will always relate to the most. It was an absolute work of art.

I don’t like the cruelty of the parents doing to their son as shown in this episode.. At least he didn’t stop schooling.. Striving for his future good life.. Let’s hope the girl could help him in achieving his goal .. Let’s hope too for achieving their dreams to become a better person.. Let’s cross our fingers for them..And even in reality if I may say so..

I'm just thinking how much of it is literally normal in Asian families
Even if there's no physical abuse there's mental abuse most of the time
They want you to fulfil and achieve those dreams that they couldn't achieve
Become the person that they couldn't
Never asking what the child wants
They think of you as an investment not as a human, not as their child
They only remember what they went through in their childhood, what they did for you never realizing you didn't ask to be born they brought you in this world
They should be responsible
Not all parents deserve a child

God, I cried so much during every single episode that was mentioned about how horrible not only Jun's father but also his mother treated him. I know that his brother was trying to protect him but the way he went about it is.. coldhearted.
