They are two very different experiences, and shogun is only a mini series. Also you brought up the bad rushed ending for GoT, saying it made women characters look bad. You clearly ignored Sansa becoming a leader, and Arya killing the main evil threat. Two different cultures are being portrayed.

Literally name any scene in Shogun that can touch Neds death, Blackwater Bay, Daenerys getting the Unsullied, the Red Wedding, Tyrions Trial, the Mountain vs the Viper, Jaimes confession, Hardhome, Battle of the Bastards, Cercei blowing up the Sept, Daenerys coming to Westeros….
Even when you compare characters like Robert Baratheon to Buntaro, it’s insane how much more depth the former has. Or Ishido compared to Tywin Lannister. GoT easily clears.

Funny how you praise a random female assassin in Shogun who fails and dies in like 30 seconds but don’t even mention Arya Stark who takes out the whole of House Frey alone, seems like you’re the ones reducing women roles, we really about to act like Thrones isn’t full of fully realised and powerful women of all ages, ability’s and bodys. Old and smart like Ollena Tyrell, big and strong like Brienne, leaders like Yara or Daenerys. The women in Shogun just want to kill themselves for men.
