I don't exactly know why but this part always breaks me: "So leave a light on, I'm coming home. It's getting darker but I'll carry on. The sun don't shine, but it never did. And when it rains it fucking pours, but I think I like it. And you know that I'm in love with the mess, I think I like it."

As a fan of metal, country, rock, rap, etc, THIS is my “if I could have been at one concert” concert. The blend of orchestra and band is so well written and is so well done. I could only imagine hearing it live.

I wonder how the orchestra felt while performing this. I mean, they're probably used to very formal crowds that just clap after every performance, but here the crowd literally cheered after their overture and sang at the top of their lungs, must've been surreal.

This makes me forget everything. Work, time, place, myself. I just listen into the amazing music, close my eyes and fade away.

I remeber how I used to sing this song with a old friend of mine. He took his own life and now I'm here, singing for him. Please look after the one who's close to you.
