I’m 19 and i live in maras Turkey. I was asleep in my home with my family when earthquake hit us. It was terribble. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. I heard my little brother’s scream and fell from my bed. Everthing was shaking i saw the walls crack in front of my eyes. The sound was horrible. My mom dad little brother and i hugged each other and sit next to the bed waiting for the end. Then dad told us to get up, take a coat and leave. We’re living on the sixth floor and it felt endless while we run on the stairs. When we reached the ground floor the second shock hit us. Me and my mom fell from the stairs and in that moment i thought i was going to die. But thankfully God let us escape. We run outside and started waiting. I saw so many buildings collapse and people running for their lives. It’s snow everywhere and there’s still voices coming under the buildings crying for help. The hope is still alive. Please emphatize and send help as much as you can. We need food, water, clothings and any other kind of help. Thank you all for your support.

As a Turkish I want say thanks for good wishes and donations. We will never forget the countries that sent us rescue teams. It's been nearly 80 hours but we still have hope. We still believe more people will be saved. I hope such a disaster won't occur in another countries. But if it happen we will be there for you.

An awful tragedy! The extent of this catastrophy is so huge that it is almost impossible to provide as much personnel and machinery as needed. If we think of destroyed roads, rails and runways at airports, the pain is even bigger, especially having in mind many remote mountain settlements left on their own. Our hearts are with you, people of Turkey! Here in Croatia we experienced recently several earthquakes and we are very much sensibilisated with horrors it brings to people's souls, although this is beyond all imaginations. Stay strong and God may be with you!

Irish people share condolence to Turkey. Never forget Turkish aid when we suffered from famine in 1840s.

"We are finished" is hitting me in the depth of my being this morning. Our deepest condolences, and a promise to reach out to push my country's leaders to step up much more quickly than we've been doing.

Dear people it's me writing from Turkey, i'm in west side but my whole feelings and hopes are with people in earthquake zone. You follow the news via news and social media however the situation it is much bigger and worse than you seeing. Such a really big catastrophic disaster for us. We are third day but still many people are waiting to save in underground and collapse building. At that time we still need your help. Almoslty all the countries over the world sent to help and aids/supports to us, i want to thank you each of them. You can ensure that we will never forget it. Also i wanna add to something, please don't sad your family and friends, it's really big pleasure that sitting at home and drinking coffe while watching tv etc. This is the most thing in the life. You can be failest person or you can be still don't reach good position in your job but still you are alive. You can't guess that how many people still waiting to alive again in there, how many people are in outside with cold weather. How many people sleeping on the floor without bed etc. Even just a cup of tea is really big thing that these people in there. This is not advice maybe but try to be happy with your owns. 'Cause life is really short and everything can be possible in every second. In Sunday i was really happy, i watch a game and i went to bed but when i get up i'm shocked that how this can be possible. That's why if you're alive and can taking breath you're richest person ever. Thanks for good messages and big helps.

We are in a really difficult situation, there are some of my acquaintances who are under the rubble and the aid team has not even gone yet. People are tweeting out from under the wreckage, sending videos and asking for help. It has passed fifty hours, the death toll is over seven thousand. Aid teams are insufficient in our city of Hatay and Adıyaman, my friend is still in the wreckage. We hear your voice under the rubble, but there is no help team. There are many people asking for help on social media. It's very cold. People freeze to death. There are corpses on the side of the roads. Some children's families cannot be found. Many thanks to everyone who helped. God bless everyone
