As a boy I watched my Uncle and cousin appear on this show. They had just won the national model rocket championship with a 12 foot tall working replica of the Saturn V. My Unc. was a rocket scientist for Rockwell and worked on solid fuels for the real Saturn V.

Sadly, I heard that Niki de Saint Phalle developed some health issues due to some of the materials she worked with, like fiberglass. She died of lung problems, as far as I know. My favourite is always Kitty Carlisle! She was always so poised and sophisticated.

I wish they asked the real person more questions after it was revealed who it was.

George Schaller, who is still very much alive and active, is recognized by many as the world's foremost field biologist. He is also a noted conservationist. After his work with gorillas, he expanded his research into studying many other species around the world.

Robert Sheridan died in my hometown of Medford, Oregon, in 1994. He was 68.

Bud referred to the successful revival of one of the plays Kitty's late husband Moss Hart co-wrote with George S. Kaufman, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU.

Wish there would be follow up interviews with all these personalities. Would have been fascinating! What a historical opportunity missed!

19:10 It was interesting hearing Orson struggle with the names Uganda and Rwanda, especially given all of the mayhem that would occur in those places in the following decades.

Niki de Saint Phalle was a very talented artist and I'd never seen a photo, just her work outside the Pompidou in Paris, so good to catch this episode. Some of the guests this show captured at a young age makes it a time capsule.

Gorillas are fascinating animals. If you ever get the chance to look at one right in the eyes, you know for a fact that there is a lot going on in their brain. It would be great to know what they are actually thinking. Orson was a very unique person, to say the least.

Omg, I must've seen this when it first aired! Whenever I think of Kitty Carlyle, though I've seen her many times, my image of her is this wild dress! As a kid I was sure her name was actually Lilly, I mean she is literally growing out of the center of those outrageous flower petals!

What a sad story. Robert Sheridan. He never married because he couldn’t remember his past & if he had a family and didn’t want to bring anyone else into his amnesiac life. He died never remembering his childhood.

Niki de Saint Phalle (it's spelt incorrectly above) was a fascinating woman. She has quite an artistic legacy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niki_de_Saint_Phalle
