As a 14 year old I was thrilled to see you standing there singing Watcher of the Skies at Bournemouth Winter Gardens in October 1973, and in September 1977 at Southampton Gaumont I led the audience to the front of the stage to wake them up. You reached down and shook my hand at the end of the concert. Special memories, Peter!

I was lucky enough and I do mean LUCKY enough! to see Peter when he was the opening act[I know!] for David Bowie's Moonlight tour in Vancouver. We knew then we were in for a musical treat and experience. Peter! His voice...unbelievable. I kid you not. He had the ENTIRE stadium in a kind of musical trance, he was charismatic to say the least. He is a master musician and such a gifted artist....we would have gladly followed him, the whole crowd....wherever he wanted to lead us! Oh yes we would! We were musically hypnotized...that is the best way I can put it. Amazing. We crave art that touches us somehow and music with meaning in this world. Peter's music is that mashup of art, beauty and meaning. Ok. Welcome back Peter!!!!

Since I moved back to Syria almost 12 years now, music became more than a pleasure, more than a need, it became a necessity, a vital component for the survival of sanity and for keeping the light of hope flowing.
Every time I listen to your creations I reconnect with myself and with the earth.
You have always been a generous soul, with your heartfelt poetry, your global music aesthetic, your collaborations, your kindness and humility.
Thank you from the heart.

Peter, You have and always will be my favorite singer and songwriter. Your songs are an intrinsic part of my and so many of my friends lives and I thank you for all of the musical gifts.
I’ve been at all your live shows since the early 70’s and will be there when you come back to America again.
So happy you’re doing another studio album and can’t wait for the next Full Moon!

What a joy and thrill it is to see, Peter Gabriel, one of my favorite musicians of all time still putting out meaningful songs, with important environmental, and social concerns being brought to our attention. Back in the summer of 1985, one of my best friends introduced me to Peter Gabriel for the first time with what would be my favorite album ever, Security. He had it on audio cassette and we used to play it in the car every night after he got off work, and we would just drive around our hometown for hours listening to music as we talked about life and our future. Those were some of the best times of my life and my first real concert was the So tour where I got to see Peter Gabriel live. To this day Security is still my #1 favorite album and the songs within move me like no other. The Rhythm of the Heat and San Jacinto especially call out to me, and are quite near and dear to my heart. They stir up Native American memories from some past life as "I hold the line". As someone who suffers from Mental/emotional illness the song Wallflower, breaks my heart and serves as a warning.

It’s so weird watching someone I have respected and followed for so many years talking to me like someone in a pub would. It’s so refreshing. Thank you Peter.
