This episode is a classic. I've rewatched it on numerous occasions. George (Thanos like) lays waste to Prog monoliths with casual abandon, it really it a sight to behold.

I have to rewatch this every once in a while. Funniest show on the internet! Pete’s reaction when George starts with «In the Court…» is priceless, and gets me every time😂

"So why do I have to suffer? If I'm in therapy, I've got my own problems!" - K. Golden. Oh man, how did I miss that one the first time around? Fantastic!

Getting into Van Der Graaf Generator takes time, but once you're hooked you will never stop listening to them. Scorched Earth, Killer, House With no Door, Wondering, My Room (Waiting For Wonderland), Meurglys III (The Songwriter's Guild), Pilgrims, Refugees and Hammill's solo material like Forsaken Gardens are just sublime, incredibly beautiful and atmospheric. Hammill's voice works more often than not. The other guys might not be so flashy, but their playing is certainly tasteful. Definitely in my top 10 bands of all time. Pawn Hearts may not be the most musical or melodic VDGG album, but it's very much appreciated. You need to have a mega brain and very strong vision to come up with something like Plague of the Lighthouse Keepers, or Man-Erg.

Best show ever! Watching faces as the respected George takes down classic records, like a slaughterhouse operator. So great! Please do this topic again.

I didn't know what to expect from this review, I almost passed this one up but I was so surprised to see Pete laugh and bust a gut like I have never seen before. I laughed incredibly hard at so many of the reviews and comments. I think this is one of the best videos I have seen on this channel! I really did need a good laugh before going to bed. Thank you guys, this was awesome- who would have guessed- so much fun :)

More of these! This is so funny and I love situations where humour just comes out of such considered and well-directed vitriol.

Jeez, this was the most fun I've had in a while... Painfully funny at times... King Crimson! Really enjoyed a few of the videos over the last few days and learnt a lot too, heard some new music. Great stuff and great mix of guests across the shows... Thanks to you all.

What can I say... I'm a devoted VDGG fan.... and of Peter Hammill's solo work.... which includes his Rikki Nadir alter ego....
