On the northern slope of Mount Psiloritis, there is a village called Anogia, where its citizens are known for their skill in composing and performing Mantinades. It is a form of traditional Cretan poetry used to express deep emotions, tell meaningful stories, and convey unspoken messages.

Mana (Mother) is a song composed by Loudovikos ton Anogeion, with lyrics based on a mantinada that Mihalis & Olga Dramountanis once wrote for their mother.
The melody is performed by Thanasis Kleopas (the Wandering Melodist) on an ancient lyre, masterfully handcrafted in Greece by the LUTHIEROS family.

Thanasis Kleopas is an ancient lyre and guitar player with many performances around the world, such as in Thailand, Japan, India, France, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland. He combines traditional music with the ancient lyre and tries to produce emotion-provoking music. He performed in the past in churches, schools with kids with special needs, museums, and even fashion shows such as Dolce & Gabbana summer show in Milan.
