It's so funny to me that the old lady in the story basically said "Have the lights off by 10pm, otherwise it attracts big moths." And the imagine my mind created was just Mothman banging himself against the glass, crashing in through a window, going to the light and standing there hypnotized by it.

I totally thought this was going to be a situation where the obsessive ex turned himself into a moth to try and win her back-like âif the only thing you truly love are moths, then I will become one to prove my love for youâ would have been a cool twist to tie both parts of the story together

The ending had me a little like 'wait that was it?' Like, the scariest part was when she lost enough blood to colour the entirety of the bathwater red and thought a bandage would fix it? I mean. What was the deal with the boyfriend? Was that just there to reach the word count? So what about the footsteps? If the Mothman was floating that wasn't him. If it's a hiker? What the heck though? Ah yes, I too, love to hike and bang on strangers' windows in the middle of the night. And this Mothman's only goal was to just stare at the light? Like yeah that's kind of the only goal moths have, so. Instead of getting frostbite, she could've just turned off the light tbh. He probably would've left to the moon. Anyway yeah, America's Mothman is scarier.
But other than that, very happy this show is back :D

Not how I thought this story would go. I think the ex should have shown up to terrorize the main character and then Mothman rescues her by killing him and the two end up falling in love. And Shane and Ryan would cheer on the mothman cause he would be the hero with the ass they can't seem to stop talking about lol

That story lost me at the get-go. Luna moths (not "lunar") are native to the Eastern United States. If they're found in Europe at all, they're vagrants. They're never found as far east as Russia, and they're sure as hell not seen in the winter. They're light green, not black, and they're probably the least-scary moth in existence. They're really quite beautiful. Some moth expert!
