I enjoyed listening. You two covered alot about kratom. You let people see that it is not some crazy fad. We are real people with real issues and we have chosen to improve our lives with kratom. I don't ever get "high" because that is not what kratom does. It allows me to help my sis take care of our mom with Alzheimer's. Without kratom, my days are usually in bed and in pain. I was a teenager in the 70's, believe me I know drugs..lol. Kratom is a simple plant that provides simple relief for many reasons. Not a cure...but a way to live again. #SAVEKRATOM

I'm sorry but don't say kratom isn't addictive. It has some really awful withdrawal symptoms if you take it every day. You say it's similar to caffeine. If I stop drinking caffeine suddenly after daily use I'll get a bad headache for a day or two. If I stop taking kratom after daily use I'll get fever like symptoms, have really bad cold sweats, and feel very weak and anxious for up to 3-5 days. I'm all for keeping it legal but it's by no means harmless and non addictive.

I have had pain every day for the last 18 years from fibromyalgia. I took myself off opioid pain medication, that I took for 12 years (same dose, same frequency, same Dr., same pharmacy) when the new opioid regulations took effect in Oct. 2014. Kratom staved off most any withdrawal sickness and has helped with the every single day pain of fibromyalgia in lieu of stronger prescription medications. I cannot take OTC nsaids due to severe stomach distress. If kratom is made illegal, I will have nothing to help with pain so I can remain a working member of society and help support my family. People have been helped by kratom for hundreds of years, not only for chronic pain, but anxiety, depression and withdrawal, cessation from more serious drugs. Kratom should be celebrated!
