I just watched the movie āAlmost Famousā for the first time and this was the song that played over the closing credits.
Iām now 68, but for some reason I had never heard the song all the way through.
The movie version seems longer and has an extended flute solo towards the end that really got my attention.
I just looked it up.
Jazz musician Charles Lloyd played the flute solo.
And I guess Iām wrong about the length of the song.
Itās one and the same.

I was about 30 when I saw Almost Famous. I never heard Feel Flows until I saw the film. Of rhat remarkable film soundtrack, this was the one song that stuck out. When I figured out it was a Beach Boys composition, I was floored.
