I think Netflix has very smartly conned Indrani, who has narcissistic and sociopathic (maybe even psychopathic) tendencies. I think they tried to convince her that this will be a documentary trying to show her in the positive light, whereas they have shown multiple scenes which convey the opposite, e.g. the smirk on being asked if she killed Sheena, the way she looked onto the camera when she first faces it, the way she orders the servant for tea and says thank you, etc. there are lot of scenes which show her narcissistic personality and indirectly show how she could be the actual criminal in this

Honestly, this documentary is going to backfire on her big time as now 100% of the people who watch this will be convinced that she is the murderer. Psychopaths tend to make the mistake of believing that they are smarter than everyone else, and Indrani has made that same error. Maybe the documentary makers knew exactly what was going to happen after the release and are quietly congratulating themselves.

I really doubt netflix ever intended whitewashing Indrani's image. Like for almost every statement she put in her defence, they literally showed a more convincing contrary argument 'the very next shot' that would just throw away any credibility she had. Or even showing her lawyers struggling with their defence, I mean they knew they had to record for the documentary, why couldn't they prepare better, or even edit that part out or re-record.
I believe netflix knew what they were doing and they tricked Indrani into believing they were making her side of the story to make her speak up (having Indrani defend herself on camera would make the series more appealing afterall).

Unpopular opinion but i think that Vidhi Mukherjee all of sudden decided to support her mother Indrani because she realized that if she wants to live a life of luxury & comfort then she has no other option but to be on her mother's team otherwise Indrani won't give her single rupee from her wealth

Honestly this was frustrating to watch! You are so right I had zero empathy for Indrani. It says so much when Netflix releases a documentary called " The Indrani Mukherjea Story" lol. Very little about the real victim. It was all over the place and the documentary just made things more confusing. The 4th episode seemed to be the only one that had some context and clarity. But otherwise quite a vague and murky depiction. I really felt for Rahul. The sadness and confusion was palpable. You realize how much he must have suffered. He stands his ground and really tried his best. My god it was brutal for him. Indrani's lawyer needs an award for being so confidently delusional. My god this was painful to watch. 😒

She had zero remorse, the way she articulately was reminding her attorney of words to speak. I do not think her father had anything to do with being Sheena’s father. An easy dna test could’ve proved it. Worse is her having to respect for the dead soul. She is still trying to prove that the poor soul is alive and faking her death. Lowest a person can go.

What I dont understand is... how is Indrani still not in jail. After watching the documentary, its quite clear she has done it. The driver confesed, the second husband also admitted that they were in the car when the murder took place. Rahul's phone convos shows Indrani and Peter deliberately hid the tryth and stopped Rahul feom filing a missing person's case... its an open and shut case it seems... and still she is on bail... 🤷♀️
