This is one of my favorite childhood songs. At 44 now, I still know the lyrics and play it and sing along every now and then especially when stress and adversities overwhelm me. It gives me comfort and hope because I'd be taken back to how I was back then when I listened to it as a child - so optimistic of things and life in general.
I'm not that optimistic now. I've grown hard and cynical. That's why I need to be reminded of how I was every now and then. It helps me cope with life in general and most of all, it's a reality check to remind me of not becoming the person I once swore not to be.
