What bothers those people is not that entertainers have opinions. It's that they use award shows and other shows to give your opinion on politics. That's not why people tune into those shows. If you do it on Twitter, FB or here then that's your space. That's different.

Hi Richard & Daisy, I love how down to Earth, both of you are still! I have an Aunt, Who Married a Multi Millionaire lives Overseas and has lost ALL sense of Normalcy, Reality, Humanity. She, doesn't appreciate or care to remember that My Parents, let her Live with Us in Order for her to go to College. Just sad! Anyway, you both are My Favorite type of Celebrity. Be encouraged Richard. My son didnt speak to me for over 4 yrs. I was a working musician and I had a problem with drinking... That lifestyle took over and I got into legal problems but I turned it around. He wasnt ready to forgive me. It broke my heart the hole time. I continued to show him love and I changed for myself and on Christmas he came to see me and now we go to work together everyday and have to-date often and we laugh a lot. I'll pray for you and your boys. Thanks for sharing.

I am a hairdressers by trade and I have had many people contacting me to go cut their hair. Presenting it to me as if my life and safety is not of importance, nor is their own or others for that matter. Many people I have not heard from in years are contacting me. I have chose to stay in isolation because I do not chose to be a part or the problem. Most people need a haircut or whatever right now. I do as well, yet risking anybodies life for that is just nuts.

You mentioned writing with Keith Urban. Several year's ago I met up with my sister in Rockford, Il to see an outdoor concert of his. Before it started, I was telling my sister that I hadn't been in Rockford for a concert since the 80's when I saw Richard Marx, then Keith came out and announced a surprise that Richard Marx was there. My sister just shot me a look like omg. It was just a weird coincidence, but very cool. I loved that concert. I drove home to Wisconsin in the rain because I couldn't get my top up on my Wrangler, but I was in such a good mood that I could care less. It was a very memorable day that I loved with my sister.

Richard, I know how difficult it is when things are off with your kids. I also have 3 sons. Unfortunately, due to an ugly divorce and lies, my sons do not speak to me. They even abandoned my Mom, their grandmother, who loved them and took care of them when they were young, while I worked 3-11.
I felt so bad for my Mom. She passed away at 98 years old in 2016. I really miss her. I don't see my grandchildren either. It's been 13 years now and Mother's Day was not a good day for me.
Things will work out with your son. Love is on your side.
