American journalist Vanessa Griogoriadis did some research on something we mightā€™ve all noticed - famous people are getting skinnier than before. Vanessa did some investigation on a fat reducing product developed by a danish company, and itā€™s pretty controversial. We talk about everyone from Rebel Wilson to Kim Kardashian. #celebrities #kimkardashian #weightloss

One thing I have never heard was anyone accused Kim Kardashian of being authenticšŸ˜‚

Who has been looking at the Kardashians and thinking they were "natural"?

My elderly neighbour used this drug for diabetes and lost a huge amount of weight without trying. She now looks absolutely fantastic and due to the massive weight loss , she is no longer diabetic and she has a new lease on life. It really changed her life, but she was using it for diabetes and she was totally shocked at the weight loss.

All I can say is the people that are getting Ozempic for weight loss really upsets me. I'm diabetic and constantly worried if I'm going to get my next prescription in time for the next dose that I need along with a lot of other diabetics.

My sister (now 78) was put on a drug trial 4 years ago for type 2. She injects herself every week. Because itā€™s a trial she doesnā€™t have to pay for it. Sheā€™s lost 50kg and most of her muscle mass. Sheā€™s mentally unwell, and is living on cream cakes, milkshakes with whipped cream on top, KFC etc. No nutritional food. Sheā€™s loving it because she keeps losing weight. As her unofficial carer, Iā€™ve been trying to have it stopped, but the specialist who put her on it has given her permission to stay on it. Sheā€™s become toxic towards me for daring to meddle in her life. This isnā€™t going to end well.

Not true that a women canā€™t lose 4 dress sizes at 40. I went from size 12-13 down to size 6 doing intermittent fasting and I was 58. Keeping the weight off almost 3 years so far. Totally healthy route and effective.

I've followed plastic surgeons online & they have noted that the ozempic users are starting to really age. We've seen this with people removing buccal fat, I've seen super models ( Gigi Hadid) who are really aging themselves.

I lost about 80 pounds the year before last, at 44 just by changing my diet. Granted, I did gain a lot during COVID but I am smaller now than I was in high school

Andrew you gotta calm down. Youā€™re a good looking guy. You look like a mix between young Al Pacino and young Paul McCartney

Andrew, I hate to tell you this but my 9 yr old grandson that is homeschooled, highly monitored online, and watches no TV recently asked if the reason that the neighbor who has dropped a ton of weight quickly was on Ozempic. He heard someone on YT talking about it. It's not a secret anywhere in America. :D

I remember when having slender hips and butt AND a small waist was "perfection". Imagine all the average women, making their butts huge, in whatever (irreversible) way, only to find out now, oops, we're going back to skinny. šŸ˜±

Iā€™m glad you guys are talking about the impact this is having on diabetic patients. Iā€™m a type 1 diabetic and this drug was a game changer for us. I donā€™t know as much about its efficacy for type 2, but I cannot tell you how many type 1ā€™s have been able to take their lives back, stop the crazy highs and the daily rollercoaster of balancing food, stress, activity, and injections to have some semblance of normalcy. Now my pharmacy often canā€™t get it as the number of vanity scripts grow. And donā€™t get it twisted - many of these very wealthy people work with cabana physicians who will write the script and get it paid for on their insurancesā€™ dime, as well, whether they need it or not. Wouldnā€™t be the first drug shortage caused by the rich, and Iā€™m sure it wonā€™t be the last.

I'm not wealthy by any means but I'm still on Wegovy for weight loss due to my obesity. Best thing that's every happened to me!! Chronic obesity is a disease. Finally there's help for us. Don't knock it.

I heard an interview a couple of days ago that because Ozempic slows your digestion you can end up with a lot of elimination problems which can be dangerous over the long tern.

The side effects of this drug is what I am waiting for. I like how VERY OPEN Sharon Osbourn is when she says... I took Ozempic -- lost all this weight and now she says she can't gain it back because she is too gaunt

Iā€™m 46 and Iā€™ve just lost my slim figure and started to gain weight on my tummy. Itā€™s infuriating, but I will work at it and I wonā€™t be injecting myself with diabetes pens!

She did get slimmer but she didnā€™t go down ā€˜4-5ā€™ dress sizes, thatā€™s a wild exaggeration. Rebel Wilson lost 4-5 dress sizes.
