This is like a really really good dream that lasts the whole night but you just can’t recall it the next morning.

What the song speaks about always gets to me. Basically describing the thoughts and emotions of being in an Iron Lung, a machine that essentially breathes for you (look up iron lung polio survivor for more info). A very specific topic to write a song about but they made it work so well, singing about being paralyzed from surviving polio and strapped to a machine that you need to stay alive. Thinking about what these people go through, with every breath an uphill battle, makes me feel like whatever I'm going through is more than manageable.

Holy moly. How does a 9 minute song seem short? Didn’t want it to end. This song is amazing. And the video is basically the best closed eye visuals experience I’ve never had.
