Unlike Helldivers, which is a top-down shooter, Helldivers 2 is a third-person shooter. On PS5 remove depth of field, add sharpness to 90-100 and enable anti-alising. It makes graphics look cleaner

I don’t mind being more intentional about reloading, the problem is that 20 years of gaming instilled this deep reflex to always reload when a bullet is missing 😂

I opened the shop and saw they were selling skins for like .50 cents to a few bucks. It’s sad to say but even tho they’re microtransactions in a paid game, the fact that they’re so cheap and the game is only $30 engendered a lot of good will towards the devs for me. A few bucks is what a skin is worth despite most AAA games’ attempts to convince us they’re worth $20+

Played on PC with my buddies all night last night. Some of us were on ps5 and some on pc. I DC’d once but was able to rejoin fairly quickly and easily. The friends list system was the main point of contention for our group though, took a really long time for friend requests to show up for some reason. BUT other than those two things, game ran great and was soooo much FUN. Big recco for you and your group.

You don't fail if the timer goes out, you can still extract but you can't use your stratagems.

I like games that kinda push people into seeking other ppl to play the game with, it forces ppl who have little to no friends to seek out other ppl, which could lead to new friendships, both online and eventually irl.

The first booster of the unlockables fills up all your ammo/stimms everytime you drop down, well worth it !

Edit: it looks like almost all of the PC issues have been fixed! Plus, there are currently over 100,000 players on steam concurrently. A LOT of people playing! Just so you know, all donations made to the NCMEC go directly to them and YouTube covers all transaction fees. So, 100% of ALL proceeds go straight to the charity.
