Limelight is a documentary series that follows the unique lives of different New Yorkers. The goal is to tell unheard stories from around the city that will widen our perspectives and make us look at the world differently.
This channel is the creation of 24-year-old documentary filmmaker, Josh Charow. All films are made by myself and a small crew of wonderful friends willing to lend a hand on these projects. Short and sweet. Rockburne seems so aware of her presence in the art world and also appreciative of what it has given her and what she gave the art world. And btw, after college I began work in NYC in the 80s and even then some of these raw work lofts were occupied by artists. I remember being invited to a loft in SoHo where a friend lived with her artist parents. Coming from the suburbs it felt like I had gone to Oz. Of course now just pricey "luxury" residences...
