Have distributed through AWAL, no real playlist support even when music is submitted 4 weeks in advance. The stats you have access to is great in comparison to Ditto, not 20% worth of music royalty. Considering going back to Ditto, most of the services only help push for playlist if you’re already bringing in the numbers.

What is the difference between choosing Pay to distribute distributors like Tunecore and Signed distributors like Orchard? And also infact orchard takes so much of the percentage why would someone go for the orchard or awal over tunecore

Awal dont help artist. I have a friend that has hit major milestones in music that includes bilboard charts, independent radio charts, major press, extremely high numbers for streaming on all platforms. They put some songs on another distribution company as an experiment and that company contacted them to provide lable services. My friend still hearing crickets from AWAL because they too busy helping and paying major record label artist.

That was it? Also they guy hadn't really put out anything really. One song. He just started creating music like this. So how is he expecting to have big numbers over people who've been doing it for years. Maybe his friend had actually been producing longer and had better stuff. Honestly if you think that anything you did your first year or two even is worth people buying your either a genius or lucky if your lucky do you still have a career after that one big track? No hurry do the work to get good enough that people notice. It's called a business for a reason.
