All jokes aside, I really think the whole concept of Santiago and the trend might make for a perfect villain that plays copycat. The name would remain the same, but everything else is not like the meme were all used to laughing at. Santiago would look like Classic Sonic, but he would wear torn up robes and have a scar on his left eye, which is covered by an eyepatch, as well as a rusty ear piercing and sharp teeth that resemble Knuckles' teeth from the 2000s era of Sonic where he had fangs (don't know for sure if he still has them). He is sort of like Spiderman 2099 from Across the Spiderverse, only this time he disrupts canon events and has his way of messing up the timeline to where it might actually cause Sonic himself to die, no matter how old he is. In order to do so, he uses the power to shapeshift into the same Sonic he's up against and impersonate him in order to mess up the Sonic's canon event. However, this doesn't mean all hope is lost, because despite being a menacing villain, he is small, but also a little dumb. Attempting to stop him would take you or Sonic to travel across time or the multiverse because every Sonic is like a tower of cards, one gets knocked down, the rest falls apart. One Sonic gone means that every Sonic is gone. Due to his stupidity, obvious hints that indicate that he is Santiago can be seen in plain sight, in split seconds. That just depends on how much you or Sonic can pick up those hints. Two things that you or Sonic have to pay attention to is that sometimes his voice will go from his original voice to the voice that comes with the impersonation and sometimes his original appearance can leak out. All you have to do is be quick with paying attention because many have mistaken him as the real Sonic and that lead to near death experiences for any other Sonic which then leads to major concern across the multiverse. If you pay attention in enough time, you or Sonic are able to catch him red handed, maybe chase him or throw hands with him. He has been defeated many times, but vows to return. In short, he would be medium level difficult as a villain, all you have to do is use your listening ears and keep your eyes out for clues and obviously know how to fight. 9 times out of 10, you would win against him and his plan will fail like always, so nothing too bad for you or Sonic.
