Ontario based Jaguar Sun is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Chris Minielly - now performing live with a full band composed of guitarist Jesse Maranger, bassist and trumpeter Laura Sones, synthesizer player James Reesor, drummer Dave Klassen, and percussionist Amit Mehta. Weaving together inspiration from artists such as Real Estate, Youth Lagoon, and Fruit Bats, Minielly creates dreamy, pop based soundscapes with an emphasis on the bittersweet. Jaguar Sun was headlining a concert earlier this year that I was originally going to for another band. I checked them out beforehand and had a feeling that they would be great live. I convinced my friends to stay for them with me and wow, it was the best musical experience I ever had. I felt it in my soul. This live session AND video is fantastic and makes me remember that night. Great work everyone ♥

Discovered Jaguar Sun a year before the Covid-19 pandemic. While many have a mere recollection of past events during those times, This Empty Town album made me feel, live, and love life like never before. The rendition of Red sent me back to those sad, confused, but yet happy days. Thank you guys, thanks for making us feel and live through your art. Thank you Audiotree ❤

Found these guys through a couple songs they did with Husbands (another great band) and...yeah, glad i did. This is a great Audiotree set. They sound incredible. Those tracks with Husbands are also wonderful
