I saw Highasakite a few years ago supporting Of Monsters and Men and have been a massive fan ever since. I was blown away by them. I'm been going to see live bands for years and years, and I can honestly say that I had never seen a support band own the stage and grip the audience like these guys did on the night. I had never heard of them before the gig but have championed them ever since. Wonderful band!

I love the polyphonic vocals. Marte adds this unique extra to their sound.
Ingrid is a great performer on stage but my favourite moments are when she sinks deep into the song and reduces her theatric movements - that's when you see, that she feels the music. It maybe far fetched, but her movements remind me a little bit of Joe Cocker, then: youtu.be/M_cniFJ4Ow8?t=58m9s

I'm a jazz fusion drummer percussionist , these guys are amazing, I stumbled upon them when watching a Norwegian disaster movie on Netflix, 'Under The Sun' played during the credits! I'm amazed they are not more well know, Ingrid's voice is absolutely beautiful. They're compositions are unique, unfortunate they don't tour much in the U.S..
