This song reminds me of my 2 daughters love with me(momma). Their last few years at home before they grew up & moved out, my husband and I grew closer. They felt my husband and I loved one another so much we didn’t have as much love left over for them. It’s partly teens become independent and parents butt heads with them.
They love their daddy as I do, too. We’ve been married 26 years! Thankfully now we all love one another and get along because they’re adults but I could’ve been closer to them if their daddy didn’t need my attention so often. Oh well, we all love one another now. But this song always reminds me of me and my 2 sweet daughters before they left home. 🥹❤️💔 We had so much fun together & I miss them!

This song, for me at least, chalks up how it feels to have loved deeply more than one person... battling back the conflicts caused by said love, the pain, the guilt of knowing you can't love another like you loved those who took that trust from you, but at the same time screaming up to the sky begging to know that love with another, to move on and have a future but you can't because of who you have become after it all.
