See⌠Iâm frustrated because I took my wife to Red Rooster based on this video. And it wasnât even CLOSE to this meal. The chicken was overcooked and under-seasoned, the mac was more greens than mac (legit just a clump of greens in the middle of the pasta) Cornbread was dry. The only thing that was even remotely good was the sweet potatoes, but itâs kinda hard to mess up sweet potatoes. We were so disappointed because weâre both fans of Marcus from Chopped, so we were extra excited when we saw him in this episode. Hopefully, whoever was on the stove that night was replaced, because I would NOT recommend wasting your time going there.
Sylviaâs on the other hand is a CLASSIC. Iâd definitely recommend it for some quality southern comfort food.
