Thank you for the advice we are currently looking in Harrisburg for properties and Section 8 was going to be our preferred strategy. My investments are in Trenton New Jersey where I have the same issues with contractors Licensed or unlicensed.
I will take your advice in consideration but I believe these are the issues with dealing in D class neighborhoods.

Sad. I escaped the Harrishole area in 1999. Mom and two brothers still live there. I cant believe it has fallen that far.

That is all over, but you make this video 3 years ago, now Harrisburg pa is the best are to living, to working, to enjoy, rent more cheap, property are more cheap too. Well it is growing a lot for good. NY, California, Georgia, Chicago etc a lot state are very expensive and Verizon difficult to buy a house or rent but in Harrisburg pa you can buy you own house. Etc and more great thing we can say about This beautiful county. NY taxes is very expensive also the houses or apartment so expensive, if you buy one house or apartment in NY you can buy 5 houses or more in harrisburg PA. Beautifully farm show, nice Lake, and great River you can join. Etc you have a bad experience because you don’t live out there.

This might explain why people are leaving Harrisburg. They are simply being kicked out of their homes vs what we have been told (no jobs, crime and bad schools).
