Typically I’ll log into my bank account then realize I’m traveling back to work.

We originally wanted to go to Paris and London this summer, but with the Olympics in June, everything in Paris was booked or super expensive. Plan B, what kind of vacation do we want? Adventure! So now we're going to Costa Rica in June and planning a multi-country Europe trip for summer of '25. Next step is to watch all your videos! We love the information and consistency. The videos were helpful in planning our Italy trip in '22, so we know we're in good hands for future travel! Thanks for all you do!

I moved to Korea nearly 15 years ago. When it came time for a vacation, I realized that I had new places a lot closer than when I live in the US. I just stood in front of a map and looked for somewhere that looked interesting. When I found Malaysia, it looked exotic, so I went there. But I stayed in the city for a whole week. A few years later, I wanted to go off the beaten path, so I went to Mongolia. I was lucky enough to have a homestay experience, and since then, I have tried to get out of the city for at least a little bit while traveling to new countries. I want to see the country as it is, and not as it appears in travel brochures.

A theme for your vacation is such a good thought - wherever we are and whatever we're doing. To keep to a central idea that everything fits around is something I'll be keeping in mind for our upcoming travel plans. Appreciate your helpful videos, thank you Mark.

I love New Zealand and Australia. New Zealand is so magical. Lately, I've been really enjoying London and Paris. I have found the French to be really nice

I'm loving your videos. I'm looking into becoming a travel consultant and i'm glad I have your insight to reference when it comes to travel abroad. It's been eight years since I went to Europe and I miss it!

I love the accidental genealogy finds. I randomly decided to go into St Giles cathedral in Edinburgh and found my 23rd g-grandfather's memorial there (Archibald Campbell)

My travel interests has changed as I gotten older. Today I prefer places with as few tourists as possible and even places where there are not too many people. USA is still my favorite goal.

My wife and I have our 10 year anniversary in 2026 and want to start saving for a big trip. Looking into Portugal, Italy, and even something like the Cotswolds in the UK. I think we would like a mix of chill while having the ability to experience some culture and sight seeing (natural and man made).

I’ve been trying to study Spanish lately. Because of that, my last three trips have been to Costa Rica, Colombia and Argentina. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Now that we’re getting older, I’ve started looking at my list of future travel and starting to move things up the list that I think will be more strenuous (ie Portugal has moved up the list since Porto and Lisbon are so hilly).

2:52 Is that an O-H-I-O from the Illinois professor? Is so, this Ohio native and OSU alumnus approves!

Asking "where should I travel to?" is like asking someone "what should I eat?" There are endless variables based on personal preferences, finances, and timing.
