Today I make Estus from the Dark Souls game series, which I've never played, but everyone has asked me for this, so- Praise the Sun!

Estus Flask has got to be the most requested video game inspired drink I find in the comments, so I just had to do it. Only problem is, I've never played Dark Souls... I know it's famous for it's punishing difficulty and its strategic and tactical depth and it's funny characters (Solaire) and also maybe it's dancing? At any rate, I hope you don't mind that I don't know too much about this game series. I do know that Estus is stored in an Estus Flask, which looks like a bottle of Sunny Delight, and which is filled with fire essence from bonfires to restore your health- but since you're undead in this game maybe your unhealth? Whatever. So looking into this drink it seems there's a consensus that the drink should involve Sunny Delight- a huge mistake in my opinion. It's gross, we're not doing that. But "Cinnamon" is often associated with a kind of pleasant "heat" in food and drinks, and BarSol pisco is named for the sun, and Sunny D tastes a bit like tangerines and now I think we've got something. All I need to do now is put it together in a way that involves huge gouts of explosive flame and perfect.

Estus
.25 oz. or 8 ml. Lemon Juice
.75 oz. or 22 ml. Tangerine Juice
.25 oz. or 8 ml. Maraschino
.25 oz. or 8 ml. Cinnamon Syrup
2 oz. or 60 ml. Pisco
Shake over ice
in serving glass
~.25 oz. or ~8 ml. Lemon Hart 151 Rum
Set that on fire
Shake cinnamon into the fire
Pour drink into fire to extinguish
