Part of what sets this above other similar genre remixes of classics is; while it sounds different, it still goes exactly like you remember. No wub-wubs interrupting the pacing of the original song, no major added parts to screw with your lyrical memory. Sure the tempo is faster, but I wouldn't be that picky. The toms at 2:37 are awesome. They feel so at home in the cover that I actually thought they were in the original until I went back and listened to it. That plus the classic Brut bass makes the part sound nostalgic but completely new at the same time. Instead of being too similar to the original or too different, the cover pays homage to Michael Sambello. I’m so glad we finally got a studio version of this.
