Back around 1998, we went to a hole-in-the-wall little club in Long Beach, Ca (Que Sera) to see the lead singer of the Chameleons (Mark B.) play. Opening for him was some band from Fullerton that we had never heard of named Trespassers William. It was a dark club, very small and intimate, as we watched Anna sitting there strumming a pedal steel guitar and singing. They played most all the songs from their first album and a couple songs in, their music just captured me. They were selling CD's and I bought their first released CD (the private release that has the U2 song on it) and have loved it ever since...
