WHAT A SOPHOMORE DEBUT! WOW! Was totally blown away. I took me a minute to get into SOUR, but once I did, I was amazed. This is already COMING FOR YOUR GUTS!

Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed on my first listen. but after the 3rd time, it grew on me like Deja vu. Now I'm truly IN LOVE. Someone pointed that the stage spotlights striking her is a double entendre for the industry. The audience clearly covered in wealth reacting to her like a theatrical spectacle from afar while she's bleeding & being chased, then she flies away at the end and feels free. I love the artistic direction of the MV, however one future area of improvement for her, I hope she expands beyond simply standing around/looking around in her music videos. Nonetheless, her vocals really matured & she delivered on them beautifully, I'm impressed. It's the best vocals from her thus far imo.

I REALLY enjoy the production on this song. Olivia’s said that ballads are easiest for her to write, and I’m glad Dan has the skills to elevate this from what could be just a another sad song into something that matches the anger in her voice

Three things I noticed - and I wonder what you think:
1) In the last chorus around min 3:26 she looks behind her at the cars on the highway below her. She sings the line 'you made me look so naive'. I wonder if that's a reference to Drivers License and to the person that song was about. I thought it was interesting that she ignored her surroundings except for when she looks down at the cars.
2) And when she holds the microphone it kind of looks like she holds it in a way you'd hold an apple? like they did in Twilight :)
3) At the end you specifically hear the sound of an ambulance or a police car. To me it indicates there's trouble ahead - like something's about to go down and we're here to see it all unfold in her new album
