My favorite thing iāve learned, this past year, is that, not only was the Section 31 series Michelle Yeoghās idea, but that, upon winning an Oscar, the way she used her most influence Hollywood cred was to ask Paramount when can we get to the Section 31 movie. Like when Eric Clapton got famous and used his power to give us the albumJunior Wells and Buddy Guy play the Blues.

Iām not that familiar with the announced cast, apart from Robert Kazinsky from āPacific Rimā. However, quickly looking them all up on IMDB, Iāve learned that Richardson voiced Vendome in an episode of āStar Trek Lower Decksā and Liao was one of the Bridge Officers on the U.S.S. Vengeance in āStar Trek Into Darknessā. So, thatās cool weāve got at least two new cast members with previous Trek connections.šš

I hope Ash Tyler is involved at some level. And Iām glad this is a movie. Iād hate to see āTrek fatigueā have the same effect that āsuper heroā fatigue ruined the MCU. That and the over wokeness in the MCU.

I remember I met Shazad back in 2019 at DragonCon, and I asked if he was still going to be in it, and he was like "ohhhhhhhh I can't say" so one certainly hopes! Because you know, he had such an interesting character, and I wanted to see more of him, and there was that teaser that he would be. Usually when they say they can't tell you anything, they're involved. Because if he wasn't, why would he say he couldn't say anything? I mean. That's my guess anyway.

I have a theory about your theory. Maybe she didn't get "cured" of her temporal displacement problem because she was sent to a time before her regular timeline, a time where section 31 didn't exist yet, so as an effort to fix her problem she ends up founding section 31. š¤Æ
