On Sunday, the United States and Jordan conducted another joint airdrop into northern Gaza. Jordanā€™s Queen Rania has been outspoken in defense of Gaza civilians. She is urging the United States and other allies of Israel to use all their leverage to end what she calls Israelā€™s ā€œdeliberate effortā€ to deprive those in need. Christiane speaks with Queen Rania exclusively from King Abdullah II Air Base in Jordan, just ahead of another airdrop.

It's unbelievable to me how much people can be fixated on the 7/10, on one day! and be blind and unsensitive to thousands time the same thing. Decades of unjustice! How can we forget that what's happening is between occupayer and occupied!! they are not equal & can never be.

The Queen is a Palestinian. She was born in Kuwait. Jordan has about three million Palestinians living in the country.

As a Jordanian I am proud of Queen Rania I watched the whole interview you were impressive talking to the point about the situation in Gaza in a clear message to the world that oppression will not stop the freedom of the Palestinian people and Palestine will always exist.

An essential conversation, and yes, she is great - I saw her speaking out on BBC World News and al-Jazeera back in November, at the time of the early airstrikes on Gaza. She was angry, hurt and yet focused, confronting western journalists who, at the time, near-completely identified the people of Gaza with the worst aspects of Hamas and who would push aside any considerations of proportional response or human needs. - This is great reporting and I hope the video gets to be seen by many millions of people. Thank you! šŸ™

The Queen husband's family are the custodian of the Al Aqsa Mosque, why is it that they don't have any say about Israel not allowing Muslims to do their prayers at the holy site during Ramadan?

I find Jordan and other so called Islamic countries to be ridiculously hypocritical in how they treat people from Palestine. Jordan has refused to allow entry for those seeking asylum so has Morocco, Egypt and Algeria. I wonder why?

Right! Otherwise weā€™re just going nowhere FAST! I hope the Queen heard about the American 25 year old Air Force serviceman sel-immolation- itā€™s hurtful to hear American people donā€™t care.

When will Christiane Amanpour interview someone like Mosab Hassan Yousef or Bassem Eid or Elyon Levy or Einat Wilf or Youseph Haddad or Rawan Osman or Dalia Ziada or Lily Moo or Ayaan Hirsi Ali or David Daoud or Ahmed Al-Khalidi? Or do they not fit the spin??

Impunity breeds inhumanity! This is not a natural disaster by a long shot. This is man-made and I was I canā€™t refuse to stop it.

What century are we in? Did someone from the Jordanian people choose this woman? Jordan is a despotic monarchy and its country is hungry and very underdeveloped. Why does she never talk about the conflicts in her country and the lack of freedoms instead of judging Israel, which is the only democracy in the Middle East?

This is BS these people were turned away from Jordan back in 48 and could have been saved back then but the answer was no! Now they say they are concerned!

Queen Rania is perfect spokesperson, so articulate and knowledgeable but it wont move US and key allies. Gaza needs medical supplies, infant milk, human and animal food.
