By now, many old broadcast videotapes, such as 1-inch Type C reels, have become covered in mold, mildew, dust, and dirt after decades of improper storage. In this video, I take you through my effective (budget) process of cleaning and restoring these reels, using an extremely moldy tape from 1986.
