Thank you to the girls wearing unconventional shoes. I always wanted to wear converse with my grad dress but my mom was enmeshed with me and very embarrassed that I would wear something like that, so I wore heels. Now I'm almost 23, I've moved a 3 hour flight away from her and stopped talking to her. I've gained confidence and I now work at a movie company and have my first wrap party in a month. I bought some vans to go with the dress I picked and I'm super excited to wear comfy shoes that express my sporty side. Wear what makes you yourself, if other people can't handle it, that's their problem. You all look gorgeous no matter what shoes you're wearing!💃💕

They had JUST introduced prom at my school in Britain, I had been asked to go by two boys, one of whom I really liked and I so badly wanted to go. Sadly, before the time came around I became homeless at 15 and so I couldn’t have gone, even if I’d had a dress. It’s sounds silly but it’s something I will always feel sad about, I feel like I missed a huge milestone. I can’t wait until my boy is going to his prom ( well , I can wait cos he’s already growing up way to fast! And I don’t want it to go any faster!) I’m going to make sure he looks amazing and feels confident, I’m gonna put money aside for a few years so I can hire a limo etc and really go all out. He is so handsome and I’m not just say that cos he’s my son, strangers are always commenting on how beautiful he is especially his eyes. They’re bright blue with a navy blue rim. He’s stunning, I just know the lucky girl/boy (who knows?) is going to be beautiful and I will do all I can to make sure they have the perfect time, without being over bearing or pushy. Anyway, I’m rambling, I’ll stop now! 😂😂😂😂
