is this an example of nucleophilic catalysis by a metal ion?

what is the base that initiated this reaction and how is it there in the active site? you mean like a basic amino acid deprotonated lysine or arginine?

Can carbonic anhydrase be reversed? I thought I heard in your video that it could. I''m specifically interested in lowering CA VI levels and unsure how that process would work. Secondly, can you think of any foods that you could consume to promote the reversing of Carbonic anhydrase, specifically CA VI if possible. Science is not my background but I'm doing my best to wrap my head around these enzymes. And trying to figure out what that reversal process may be. Thanks in advance!
