This was a pretty fast clear overall. I started this run at about 7:30 am Friday morning and finished it at about 4:30 am Saturday morning. I slept for about 6 hours and also rested for 1-2 hours before sleeping. The usual bosses were difficult like previous Jedi Knight (normal) and Jedi Master (hard) modes: the big toad boss in the cave on Bogano, nightbrothers on Dathomir, the melee purge troopers, Jotaz on Zeffo (although the big one in the reactor room can be cheesed via the pillar in the middle), Albino spider on Kashyyyk, hmm...

Once you get the tier of powers after tomb of Miktrull (force pull puzzle) that includes full force replenish on stim use, maxed force push, 1 point in force pull, and better stim health gain, the game got a lot easier. And again after double jump on Kashyyyk I had 3 points saved for upgraded lightsaber damage. The reason I got that immediately over force point upgrade is because I was using force slow to defeat purge troopers, and doing more damage means I need 1 less slow cast to kill them.

Things that were more threatening on GM as opposed to Master include... well, almost everything. The parry timings are incredibly tight. A good monster to train parries on is the Nydal on Dathomir as you need 3 consecutive parries for the severing kill. The spiders on Dathomir were very threatening, much more aggressive and the poison damage hurts really bad, really fast. Nightbrothers were tough when you were fighting more than one early on but later could simply be killed with force pull or by pushing them off the edge. Jotazes punish impatient play. Purge troopers are very tough - more attacks are unblockable on GM as compared to Master. On Master difficulty only the baton purge was really threatening but on GM I would say the baton and the staff ones are the hardest. The hammer bro can be timed out fairly easily. Not to mention by the time you find your first hammer bro (Kashyyyk 2), you're pretty beefed up with powers.

Final Trilla encounter was much more difficult than Master. It was very hard to find openings to deal damage. After all I used every last stim and I was able to get the last hit off on her when I got enough force back for one last slow and free hit. All in all I really enjoyed this GM mode. It was a great challenge and made the game much more difficult and also made it feel more realistic and immersive. I am a survivor. Bad guys and monsters really are out to get me. :) "[But] it's like you said. I'm persistent."
