I went through something similar. It wasn't like we had a falling out, but I realized that we were no longer as close as we used to be and she didn't belong to me. I had to confront my own selfishness but I was eventually able to accept the way we both changed (for the most part) and forgive myself for some of my manipulative behaviors. If someone wronged me and it broke my heart, I'd think the best course of action would be to be sad, resolve the issue, awknowlege remaining feelings, and repent to each other.
