Brandi, I don't know if you ever read these comments but my hearts desire is for you to know how special "The Story" is to me. I'm sure you wrote this song for the great love of your life. For me it says everything I want to say to my daughter who is almost the same age now as I was when I brought her into this big world. She is headed off to college is a few short weeks. To say we grew up together is an understatement. I raised her and her sister by myself after leaving an abusive marriage with nothing more than my two babies and the clothes on my back. I feel like for so long we were walking hand in hand on life's path then one day she decided to start sprinting. I am so thankful that she is. She is so much stronger, smarter, and self assured than I was at her age. Anyway this song is simply beautiful and I hope you don't mind my heartfelt interpretation of your "Story"
